SSA at a Glance

Unity in Diversity

SSA members come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.  SSA endeavours to bring all children together without social or cultural boundaries through soccer.

Established to provide an outlet for the less privileged yet talented children;  SSA provides scholarships for talented players.

Speed, Strength & Agility

Strenuous drills for stamina, balance, ball control and overall soccer skills before regulated soccer practice.

Keeper Training

Life Skills

SSA encourages its players to be independent and self reliant.  During International trips, all players wash their own clothes and prepare simple yet nutritious meals.  Players are able to take good care of themselves during try-outs and times when parents, maids and drivers are not at hand.  Working as a team and taking on individual responsibilities is also an advantage.

Equipment

A variety of training gear imported from overseas, seldom found  elsewhere  in  Indonesian academies or schools.

SSA Tournaments

SSA has held tournaments  since 2007; now known as Sam's Soccer Academy International Football Festival or SSA IFF.  Through our tournaments we hope to educate all players about honesty and integrity, good sportsmanship and how to handle winning and losing alike.

All tournaments give special awards for highest goal scorers, best keepers and best players.  All coaches are responsible for choosing best player of their team's opponent after each match.

Coach competitions are also a nice end to the tournament where coaches can display a drill with their players.  Winning coaches are chosen by sponsor or guest of honour during closing ceremony.
