Sam's Soccer Academy International

Parents anxiously stood by, dreading that last wave, last hug or even last look at their sons, before seeing them off on an exciting, new adventure.

 SSA left Jakarta on 24 June at 1am, after a 7 hour flight transferred in Doha and a  wait of about 2 and a half hours; another 7 hour flight took us straight to Barcelona.

 Finally, we arrived in Barcelona airport.

 Always a little doubt, will the bus be there or not;

thankfully, yes it was! 

Next stop,  our first meal in Barcelona.

The Beach

 It's 10 at night believe it or not, with a cool breeze coming from the sea,  it was evident, SSA members were freezing, and their bodies still in Indo timezone, which was about 3am, causing some lethargy amongst the older players.

 We had no sense of time, it was still broad daylight till almost midnight, so we missed dinner 

Luckily, the hotel agreed to prepare us a cold dinner, basically consisting of processed meats with a little salad.

So for the ones still standing, here we are having a little midnight feast.
