Sam's Soccer Academy International

Vidit has participated in several SSA programs and represented SSA a number of times, becoming a full time member of SSA this year.  He left basketball to join the football team, in GMIS, four years ago. Vidit has a talent for all sports, with the ability to take on any position on the football field; he was awarded Most Valuable Player in a past SSA tournament and received a trophy, on graduation of GMIS, for his achievements in sports. 

 Vidit is the exuberant one, breathing every breath like it’s his first, savoring all new experiences, ready to take on the world.  Although he is an all-rounder in sports, he is actually a real joker.  He brings light-heartedness to the team and laughs are always guaranteed when he is around.  With the ability to slice bread with his sharp tongue, he causes us laughs not just days after, but weeks after his witty comments and hilarious antics. Despite the humour, when he makes up his mind to do something, the final results are outstanding.

 Vidit’s best position on the football field has to be in the air; he can jump higher than most players, enabling him to head the ball into the net or to safety when playing defence. 

Vidit’s shining moment was in Barcelona while taking on role as keeper. Very few balls got past him as he threw himself in all directions to save the ball.  He totally fulfilled his position in the net, becoming SSA's hero and saviour. 

 After coming back from Barcleona, Vidit gained insight into the direction he wanted his career to go in.  With the initial desires to go into sports management, Vidit finally decided to continue his studies in Singapore Institute of Management in business management, vowing to return to manage our business!!!
